Eritrea Link
In the summer of 2004 Father John visited the Diocese of Keren in Eritrea, to follow up links he had made with Abune Kidane Yebio, the recently ordained bishop of that diocese.
Bishop Kidane had already met Bishop Kevin McDonald, before he was appointed Archbishop of Southwark, to establish a partnership between our two dioceses.
"A mutual exchange of gifts," is how Bishop Kidane described his hopes for this partnership.
